Felted Sculpted Hat
In this workshop you will learn techniques for designing and enlarging a 2-D pattern to obtain a certain 3-D shape. Using fine merino wool it is possible to full a thin strong layer of felt that opens new possibilities in shaping a hat. You will study and explore how varying the thickness of wool affects shrinkage rates and provides us with control in shaping the brim.
