Making a custom size pair of slippers is a great opportunity to learn how to felt a 3-D object starting with a 2-D resist pattern. In this workshop participants will develop confidence in planning the project, estimating the shrinkage and enlarging the pattern.

You will learn about the different qualities of different types of sheep’s wool (from 19 micron merino to 27 micron Bergschaf) and how to choose and mix the right wool fibers to get a strongly felted durable pair of slippers.
