This pre-recorded online class is about creating a seamless felt piece that will be stretched over a wood panel and shaped in 3D to create a relief wall art. I will show the perfect color gradation and different wool layouts that support different possibilities in the shaping, including how to use differencial shrinkage to wrap the felt around the edge of the wood panel. 

There will be an emphasis on manipulating the strong felt and the finishing touches. 

Get ready for approximately 6-8 hours of felting to make a rosette. 

There are 3 downloadable patterns so you can create a collection of rosettes in different sizes.

There will be a follow-up Zoom meeting on Tuesday February 11th from 10 am PST to show and tell your results and ask any questions you might have about the process.
