This recorded online class is about creating a seamless felt piece that will be stretched over a wood panel and shaped in 3D to create a relief wall art. Flóra will show color gradation and different wool layouts that support different possibilities in the shaping, including how to use differencial shrinkage to wrap the felt around the edge of the wood panel. 

There will be emphasis on manipulating the strong felt and the finishing touches. 

Get ready for approximately 6-8 hours of felting. 

There will be a follow-up Zoom meeting on Sunday February 19th from 10 am PST to show and tell your results and ask any questions you might have about the process. 

The recorded materials and the supporting pdf description will be available for you online for 2 months, until April 30, 2023.
