Among all projects, felting a Christmas stocking is probalbly my favorite short class to teach. It is a very playful project where you can try working different materials and ideas, and complete a small project in just a few hours. ​

In this class we will work on a resist to create a hollow shape, and will introduce different materials (fabrics, yarns, fibers) that work well when combined with wool. We'll use a special feature of felting: dry, loose, unfelted wool can be attached and felted into partially felted areas.

We'll focus on the final shaping, too.

All supplies and materials will be provided.
