Dyeing bulk materials for felting is not magic but it is magical!

In this workshop I will teach you the basics on how to dye bulk materials for felting using light-fast and wash-fast, high quality acid dyes. We will explore how

various protein fiber materials absorb the dyes differently and will discuss how to dye solid, shaded and variegated colors.  We will  explore dyeing a variety qualities of wool, silk rowing, silk hankies and silk gauze and habotai fabrics) I will teach you how to dye pastel colors and deep colors, and we will learn how to mix and blend colors for best results.
