About the Event
In this class I will guide you to create complex 3D shapes inspired by nature. You’ll master a very thin layout with smooth color blending to create a pearlescent, featherweight Calla Lily shaped pendant. The flat felt layout will be opened and shaped in 3D.
We’ll make the cord of a necklace first, and then attach the segments by constructing and felting the tiny parts together.
We’ll use super-extra-fine, 16 micron merino wool for the finest look. This class can be completed seated by a table, not a very physical, strenuous felting class.
This workshop is recommended for experienced feltmakers.
